We recently built a customer a 565 C.I. BB Chev. 13.5 to 1 Engine. We used a Dart block with AFR Heads and Team-G Weiand Intake which the customer brought us to use. It made 772 HP @6700 RPM's and 683 lbs.of Torque @4300 RPM's
THEN !!!!
We bolted on a Sniper Intake and gained an unbelievable 63HP @ 6600 = 833 HP and 705 lbs. of Torque @ 5500 RPM's. These are genuine numbers, and we have the dyno records to prove it.

It is approx.7.5" from block pad to carb.base, it uses a Dominator Carb.
